Overview

NZ Curry House, located at Lot 42, Jalan Ampang in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, is a vibrant Indian Muslim restaurant that skillfully blends delicious flavors with an unbeatable cityscape. Its prime location offers diners breathtaking views of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a memorable dining experience where culinary delight meets urban splendor.

The restaurant’s menu shines with classics like Mee Goreng Mamak, Butter Garlic Naan, and Nasi Lemak Ayam served with dry fish chili and peanuts. Service strikes a practical balance. Staff are friendly and attentive, speaking multiple languages, which eases communication for international guests. Although peak hours may see slight delays, the overall hospitality leaves a positive impression, aligning with the welcoming vibe intrinsic to Malaysian dining culture.

In summary, NZ Curry House is a thoughtfully curated destination for those seeking flavorful Indian Muslim dishes amid one of Kuala Lumpur’s most iconic settings. Stunning views of the Twin Towers and delicious food! We had an amazing family dinner at NZ Curry House! The highlight was definitely the incredible view of the Petronas Twin Towers right from our table. It made the meal feel really special, and my kids were absolutely mesmerized by the view throughout dinner. The food was very tasty and, surprisingly, the prices were very reasonable for such a prime location. They have plenty of seating inside as well. I highly recommend visiting for a "dinner with a view" combo. We truly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back!

If you want to have a nice night view of KLCC Twin Tower, here is one of the spot. This restaurant also nearby Saloma Bridge, you can reach there around 5-10 minutes walking. Parking spot quite limited and paid only, not own by this restaurant. Other famous spot also in walking distance like Saloma Kuala Lumpur and Pelita Restaurant. But again, parking is limited and very busy area around here even during midnight.

All my reviews is in the first pic, but overall i really like their fried chicken chop (although the sauce is watery but taste okay) and okay, they probably forget my hot teh tarik but totally understandable since so much people at the time. The duration we received the dishes is quite fast I must give that one. Although the bolognaise we ordered is quite bland, probably need to see chef’s mood so its alright but all of the nasi goreng is such a delicacy And ONE MORE THING! THEIR TEH IS SO GOOD LIKE IT MATCHES MY SWEETNESS. OKay look, im not a big fan of syrup or overly sweet BUT THEIR TEH IS LIKE ALMOST THE BEST I CAN STILL TASTE THE TEH LIKE OTHER MAMAK ITS EITHER SWEET OR TOO SWEET BUT THIS I CAN STILL TASTE TEH AND SLIGHTLY SUGAR AND I LOVE IT and whoever did that teh HE DESERVES A RAISE RM104 for bolognaise, chicken chop, nasi goreng kambing, nasi goreng thai, nasi goreng kampung, popcorn chicken, fries, coconut water, teh tarik panas, teh o limau ais, coke? I think its reasonable price especially in KL Also theres a little girl who’s hungry and she wants fries so we gave her the whole basket, its alright since shes hungry. Whoever met her, if you have money pls buy her something. She probably has family or she just wanna eat so be kind and be nice to one another pls like you dont have to but if you want to, be nice to one another pls

This restaurant is located just opposite the iconic Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur — and the setting is absolutely stunning! The outdoor seating gives you a direct view of the Towers, which makes the whole dining experience unforgettable. The food is excellent, with every dish full of flavor and surprisingly affordable compared to the location. Service is also top-notch — the staff are friendly, attentive, and most of them speak English & Tamil which makes things very easy for tourists. A must-visit spot for anyone coming to Kuala Lumpur. Great view, great food, and great service — you really can’t ask for more!

Ok so context first, it's our last night in KL and we want to have dinner with a great view of the petronas towers, we also don't want to break the bank and want to be quick because we have a bus to catch to Malacca at 9.30 PM. This was a place that ChatGPT and Gemini converged. Both praised the food and said little else about the place. I can fill you in on the little else lol Firstly, the view of the petronas towers is indeed stunning, so no complaints there, but other than that this is basically a quick serve fast food canteen like place whereby the justification of "NZ" in its name is entirely fictional We ordered two mocktails which were both good. We ordered a nasi goreng (veg) which was fine. We also ordered two mee gorengs, and there was a palpable difference in the noodles used for both, with our first mee goreng being better. We also got the roti tissue which was a bit of a gimmick, a paper thin and crispy roti (think papad texture for indians) which had sugar on it and a condensed milk like dip on the side also. Ok to try for one time Service was on the slower side although it was very busy. Price point was ok for the type of food that was served.

Location: Its an perfect location for dinner, one can never miss this place if you want to have a proper view of Petronas Twin Tower. My visit: I visited here on 26-Dec-25, around 10pm The waiting time for table was around 10 min. Service : There was a huge seating space, but only 4 tables with a proper view of Petronas which is outer, the rest seating is under a roof. Service was continuous but slightly delayed acceptable since the crowd inflow and outflow was huge. Food order: Firstly ordered a Nasi Goreng which both my friend I loved it, later Nasi Lemak which was ok, then we ordered two juices one was Cold coffee and other couldnt remember that was not our taste. Price : Price was also ok, moderate for the quantity they gave and the location plays a major role. Would recommend to all who want a dining experience with a good view

We ordered satay ayam and maggi goreng telur mata. Waited 30 minutes. Service was so slow that I started questioning my life choices. Ended up walking to the kitchen counter myself, checked my order number, and proudly became my own waiter. Self service level unlocked Now the surprise part. The satay ayam was REALLY good. And I say this as someone born and raised in Kajang. Satay Haji Samuri has always been my gold standard, but this place came dangerously close. The kacang sauce was excellent, thick, rich, no nonsense. The chicken meat was so tender and soft. Thumbs up for the small fat chuck in the middle. Portion also big, so no scam here. Maggi goreng was just… ok. Nothing to fight for, nothing to remember. Will definitely come back again. Not for the service. Not for the maggi. But for the satay and that beautiful KLCC view. Worth it
